You will receive extensive support during the start-up and pre-sale phases before opening, followed by ongoing commercial, technical, administrative and financial monitoring and assistance.

Do I need any qualifications or certifications?
No qualifications or certifications are required to open a franchised gym with us.

I have a maximum of 40 hours per week available. Is that enough to start a business?
Yes, it is enough. By partnering with FitActive, many activities can be handled directly by us, allowing you to dedicate the amount of time you consider necessary to the business with maximum convenience, flexibility and efficiency.

Are there any entry fees or royalties to pay in your franchise?
Yes, there are entry fees and royalties, which will be discounted by 50% for the first centers opened. If you are interested in opening a fitness center with us, we recommend contacting us as soon as possible for further information.

What is the total investment required to open a franchised gym?
The total investment may vary depending on the size of the fitness center you intend to open and the condition of the property. Through our financial channels, with at least €80,000 in available liquid capital, it is possible to obtain significant and rapid banking support.

How long does the pre-sale period last, and will you help me organize it?
The pre-sale period lasts between 90 and 120 days, and you will receive 100% support at every stage, from setup to execution. The strength of franchising lies precisely in this support: a process we have carried out many times over many years, continuously building experience and optimizing it.

How much revenue can a franchised gym generate, and what profit can it provide?
Revenue for a franchised gym varies considerably depending on its size and location, although on average it can generally be around €500,000. Profit before tax can be approximately €100,000.

How long does it take to recover my investment?
Considering that during the initial pre-sale phase revenue is generated before ordinary operating expenses are fully in place, and that a large influx of customers is often concentrated in the months following the opening thanks to the strong “new opening” effect, our Business Plans conservatively estimate a return on investment within two and a half years of operation. In practice, results to date have consistently been better than the projections included in our Business Plans.

Is a medical certificate required to train?
Yes, it is required under our internal policy. You can obtain it from your family doctor and bring it to us within 3 days of joining.

Can I transfer my membership to a friend or family member?
The membership may only be transferred to someone who has never previously been a member.

Am I insured against theft?
Gyms do not provide custody of personal belongings, so you are not insured against theft.

Am I insured if I get injured?
The gyms are covered by Public Liability Insurance, so you are insured for any incident that is objectively caused by the facility’s responsibility. If you injure yourself or use equipment improperly, you are not covered.

Is there someone who can help me perform the exercises?
Absolutely. Although our Personal Trainers are independent professionals, they can assist you and are available to create personalized training packages to help you reach your goals more quickly.

What do I need to join the gym?
You can bring your ID card and tax code. If you choose the €19.90 monthly installment payment, you will also need to provide your IBAN for the direct debit.

Can I use the all-inclusive services at every FitActive club?
All-inclusive services are available only at the club where you joined and purchased your membership. You will, however, have access to the fitness area at all active FitActive clubs and at those opening in the future. If you wish, you can pay a small supplement to receive the all-inclusive package at one or more additional clubs of your choice, effectively giving you multiple memberships with the “all-inclusive” formula.
